6 November 2020 – Two trees at the Rebibbia Atac terminus

The 6 November 2020, with the help of the volunteers of Insieme per Aguzzano, we planted two trees at the Rebibbia ATAC terminus. A mulberry and a hackberry have been planted. Currently in the area there are 9 alberi: 1 pre-existing poplar, 5 planted by us over the years and 3 grown naturally. We have set up guards for some trees. The area has also been cleared of numerous waste, that grow faster than grass. It would be enough if there was a returnable void with a return of one euro to no longer see glass bottles abandoned or broken everywhere. But it costs too much to think of such a thing, it also costs too much effort to copy the countries that have already done so for decades. Nothing to invent..

Who wants to plant trees, who wants to make plans with us, call us, write us. We are networking with many associations and all together we can do many things and we can push those who have been elected to do them. But there must be many!

26 October 2020 – A hackberry at the Rebibbia ATAC terminus

The 26 October 2020 we planted a hackberry at the Rebibbia ATAC terminus. We try to give oxygen, for the future, at the polluted via Tiburtina. 29 September 2020 – A privet at the Atac terminus in Rebibbia

The 29 September 2020 A privet was planted in the green area adjacent to the Atac terminus, next to Metro Rebibbia. The area is very polluted by vehicular traffic. The green area could become a useful grove for absorbing CO2, but in the last 10 years, the municipality has only managed once to pollard the only large poplar present. Not even the shadow of planting. An oak and a poplar planted by us survive in the green area, then spontaneously grew a privet and also, because of the stones thrown by someone passing by, an apricot and a peach. The area is always a garbage dump thanks to the people who, passing by, he throws absolutely everything into it.

6 January 2019 – Cleaning green area Atac terminus Rebibbia: Cleaning of the Epiphany

Today, in about two and a quarter hours, ten willing cleaned the green area on the corner of Via de Casal’ Pazzi and Via Tiburtina. Countless glass bags, cans and plastic and other rubbish thrown by civilized citizens of Rome, They were collected. Glass, plastic and cans have been brought to their respective recycling bins.

In December 2018, after three years of total neglect, the City has finally mowed € ™ s grass and so today we could afford, Luckily, especially to a cleaning job more detail.

We repaired the fences to protect trees planted years ago and we have planted a poplar.

Two hours and something of a common morning, used to make the neighborhood more liveable. A get-together, sharing. Everyone did his share of work and being ten, The task of cleaning up was quick and very efficient.

The initiative was organized by Green Brigades and Together for Aguzzano, as already on previous occasions.
