Article 1

The environmental activism of any member of the brigades Greens must be demonstrated by concrete facts, not with good intentions.

Article 2

Each Member of the Green Brigades should be characterized by a willingness to make environmental education, must have the ability to explain patiently and informed environmental issues and must have proposals or any sustainable solutions to meet them.

Article 3

Initiatives and projects Green brigades should be logical, modest and participatory. Logical means they must consider the context of intervention, the feasibility; modest means that they must be realistic and proportionate to the wear of time and resources. E’ need a policy of small steps, with initiatives or projects that are efficient (well made technically) as well as effective (practical utility for the population). Participatory means that the Green Brigades must carry out initiatives and projects involving and feeling, as much as possible, stakeholders directly or indirectly by the same. Also the Green Brigades are to sensitize and involve people outside the Association and try to keep alive the interest and participation of the latter, even after the implementation of the initiative or project.

Article 4

The Green Brigade do not seek visibility's sake, but buy visibility whenever you make an initiative or project. Buy the right to express their own vision in proportion to initiatives or projects.

Article 5

The Greens want to create a consciousness and environmental awareness in people, giving an example and encouraging the spread of information and knowledge on environmental issues. This exchange of knowledge will be made among members but also inviting outside experts to talk about sectoral issues Association.

Article 6

The Greens support the idea of pollution control, the prospect of worldwide disarmament and building peaceful relations between people and Nations, including through cooperation for sustainable development.

In the environmental field, the Green Brigades are against the use of insecticides, herbicides and synthetic fertilizers that endanger biodiversity; are opposed to the use of o.g. m. and against the actions of multinational corporations that patent seeds and enrich themselves at the expense of small farmers; support the use of public transport and to a drastic reduction of private vehicles to fossil fuel. The Greens advocate the use of the bicycle and non-polluting means of transport, animals included.

The Green Brigades claim full biological food production on a small scale, support the urban farming at kilometer zero and challenge food production on an industrial scale, that damages the environment and people, offering low quality products.

Recycling and reuse of objects are to be taken and behaviours to encourage, what practices against unnecessary wastage and consumption, and against overexploitation of natural resources.

For the production of energy worldwide, the Green Brigades are opposed to nuclear energy and consider the development of renewable energy as a solution to the progressive degradation of the climate, the environment and livability of the Planet. Hand in hand, as a basis for such a policy, a policy of reducing consumption will have to be implemented, without which the energetic change would be useless.

Article 7

The Green Brigade are trying to educate people to love and protect nature and the ecosystem threatened by pollution.

Article 8

The Greens want to encourage a return of persons in contact with the Earth and nature; promote organic farming and self as a social practice positive for themselves and for society.

Article 9

The Green Brigade must keep up-to-date on environmental issues.

Each component of the Green Brigade will try to investigate matters relating to the environment (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, environmental law etc.) to base its thinking and its action on concrete foundations and knowledge.

The members of the Green Brigade have to learn agricultural skills, to gradually improve. Basics on how to plant trees and plants, about how to engage a tree, How to make a pruning, What are the seasonal cycles of plants must be some of the basics that a member must have or acquire.

Article 10

The Green Brigades found fruitful and beneficial cooperation between associations, in order to realize joint projects or initiatives. In-depth knowledge and experiences made at other associations are considered desirable and training, while maintaining a clear identity of the Green Brigade. Knowledge exchange and mutual help among societies are considered very effective to improve the quality of the activities of the Green Brigade.

Article 11

One of the means by which the Green Brigades will help preserve the Earth's ecosystem is to plant trees and plants.

Article 12

For each new Member of the brigades Greens, You can proceed with the planting of a tree, an event that will be recorded in a special register.

Article 13

The Green Brigades may intervene in any area, where deemed necessary, in Italy or abroad.

Article 14

The Green Brigade, Once consolidated its associative structure, are open to welcome people who want to play in the national civil service Association, the European voluntary service, the international civil service.

Article 15

The Green Brigade, can apply for a home, obtained in loan from the city of Rome, former article 32, Law nr. 383, 1997.
