A march from Snia to the Capitol was organized to demand the transformation of the former Snia area in full into a natural monument, as also suggested by the President of Roma Natura, Gubbiotti. Today 5 June was a success that many associations participated, that many environmentalists have come together. The more often we meet, the stronger the environmental movement will become. Thanks to the Forum of the Energy Park which organized the event.
May 1st at Snia, zone Largo Preneste, to demonstrate against the massacre, against the destruction of trees and greenery in the part owned by the builder Pulcini in the former Snia area, between via di Portonaccio, Largo Preneste and Via Prenestina. Many people and associations flocked from all over Rome to participate in popular mobilization.
On January 11 2020 there was the first meeting of the associations that will form the coordination for the Linear Park East Rome. There were more than 30 people and there was a way to get to know, to figure out what is the state of the facts related to this Park that there. The 26 January (starting from the entry h10 Pond SNIA Via di Portonaccio) there will be a walk-site inspection for publicizing the sites to everyone that there were ever.
In front of the Lazio Region to demonstrate for the transformation of the former SNIA Viscose natural monument, including the pond and the entire area. That area is densely populated and the presence of greenery per capita is much lower than that stipulated by law. In the green lung of the SNIA there are beehives and chemical analysis showed that honey is healthy, has not polluting: this is to say that the green area purifies the surrounding area.The 20 November 2016, on the occasion of tree Festival, were planted 7 trees in Lake Park ex-Snia, located between Via di Portonaccio, Largo Preneste and Via Prenestina. This planting was one of the many activities of the day, to express a desire to reclaim neighborhoods and live them with participation.
Were planted two cork oaks (Quercus suber), a Holm oak (Quercus ilex), Another oak, a flowering ash (Fraxinus ornus), a Laurel (Laurus nobilis) and a loquat (Mespilus japonica).
The day was organised in the PERMANENT TERRITORIAL FORUM ENERGY PARK (HTTPS://lagoexsnia.wordpress.com/info/).
It will also start the project API for the Lake, or realize some hives from the Association Roman Api (http://www.apiromane.org/), with the participation of anyone will be interested.

WITH A CANOE IN THE LAKE AGAINST SPECULATION
Sunday 10 November 2013, during the initiative "Guided tour of the former factory, at the Parco delle Energie and al lake Ex-Snia", to more than 200 residents were denied the guided visit to that part of the SNIA Viscose factory and the lake, already publicly owned.
With a canoe we have conquered the center of the lake and we have regained what is due to us, claiming the right to access the pond area
The entire area is intended as a master plan for public parks and services and should have already been park; it would appear that a quarter has already been expropriated for the expansion of the Energy Park towards Casal Bertone, the property pretended not to know anything, and closed the entrances preventing the passage as servants, but not only…
After last 12 October, when a large group of inhabitants had already come down to the pond, the property has illegally excavated the slope bordering the park, putting the entire pine forest above at risk and has made a descent to the lake for the unloading of materials, deforesting a part of the shore.
The Parco delle Energie and the pond are the only patch of green that has already been subtracted from building speculation for twenty years, in one of the most densely populated areas in Europe and with the lowest rate of green per capita, suffocated by traffic and infrastructure, with a very high degree of air pollution.
Today a new speculation in the area, by the already known Palazzinaro Pulcini, he wants to attack the territory further, forever erasing the lake and its habitat, with the construction project of 4 towers of 30 floors each, taller than 100 meters that will rest on tuff and incoherent river sediments ... In addition, this will result in the pouring of hundreds of cubic meters of concrete for new housing developments and an increase in environmental pollution (fine dust, smog, particulate matter,…) and acoustic.
The accomplices of speculation, responsible in the years of this havoc, and the green remains confined to pure and ridiculous decoration:
