This morning we met to repair the nets and supports of the trees planted in 2019 at Caffarella during the tree festival.
Some nets have been put in new and many posts have also been replaced. We're not done, we have to find other stakes. in the coming weeks we will complete the work. 
A nice group took part in the walk to get to know the trees, at the Caffarella park. Towards evening it was fine, nothing great hot. Knowing how trees work is already a first step in trying to defend them! Thanks to those present and we will see you soon in a new park. Try to bring children, grandchildren and friends. Soon!
P.S. The tree recognition manual of which I am attaching the cover is simple and clear, with leaves, the indications on seeds and flowers. It is out of business, but it is easily found among the second-hand ones. This edition is the only one with a section on palm trees (in the others it is absent).

Today 13 December 2020 we went to Caffarella to replace a tree uprooted by strangers. Thanks to Gianluca Taccone

The tree planted is a cork given to us by Paolo Dilello.
In date 2 October 2020 we went to rearrange some fences placed around the small trees planted at Caffarella il 21 November of last year (tree Festival). The initiative was carried out as part of the project “1, 10, 100 alberi”, between the Appia Antica Park Authority and associations or citizens who would then take care of the plants.
E’ A fundraiser was made, we agreed on a donation for two consecutive years to the Caffarella Park Committee: a small cistern has been purchased and their volunteers will water the trees twice a week in warm seasons.
After about a year we have repaired some supports damaged by the wind, from the water and a few balls. We also replaced a dried laurel with a new one.
On January 11 2020 there was the second event to plant trees in the Appia Antica Park: They were planted, several volunteers, including those of Verdi Brigades, 5 salici, two poplars and two oaks. The trees were provided by the forest nursery of Aurunci the Park Appia Antica, which has made them available for the initiative called “One, ten, a hundred trees in the park”.
