The second event of the day of the Tree Festival of 21 November was around lunch at Villa Certosa, Via Filarete / Torpignattara area. The Charterhouse Committee has organized several events in the morning and around 12.30 we started planting cork oaks (Quercus suber) close to the ridge of the pratone della Quercia. In no time at all, with the collaboration of dozens of people, eight holes were made, planted the saplings, found the wooden posts for the protections, fix the nets around each plant. A job done by everyone, with an efficiency worthy of applause! WHAT IS OFTEN NOT NOTED IN THESE INITIATIVES, IT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF COLLABORATION BETWEEN PEOPLE. In recent times, much attention is paid to how many trees are planted, which is absolutely important. But the social energy that arises from these initiatives is not infrequently overlooked: doing together, creating a new situation by collaborating, meeting new people in the neighborhood and KEEPING CONTACTS.

As for what was done at Villa Certosa, there is to be happy.
