8 may 2021 – walk from the park of Centocelle to the Pratoni of Torre Spaccata

Saturday 8 in May it was exciting to take part in the walk from the park of Centocelle to the Pratoni di Torre Spaccata. Find out about the existence of Roman villas, of medieval settlements and seeing wonderful nature with colorful flowers was like a journey into another dimension. Special thanks to Urio Cini who promoted and organized this initiative together with all the others. Thanks to Patrizia Gioia, to Antonio Citti and to all those who have told very interesting facts, memories and curiosities about the history of these parks. The Pratoni are at risk of overbuilding, are expected 4 km of buildings in an area that is a very important ecological corridor of East Rome. Look at the photos, look at the flowers and do not miss the opportunity to walk in them during this flowering period! We will organize still other walks: associations, committees and citizens gathered together to protect nature. Please, share with friends, because many people do not know these places at all.

15 December 2019 – Two cork to Centocelle Park

The 15 December 2019 Brigades Verdi and € ™ s Association “100 and carriage” They have planted two cork to Centocelle Park. 21 November 2019 – A cork oak tree for the party at the Archaeological Park of Centocelle

The 21 November 2019, for the tree festival, the association 100 and Cape (http://www.100eacapo.it/100_e_A_CAPO/Chi_siamo.html) he planted, with great presence of children of school Centocelle, we donated a cork, in the Archaeological Park of Centocelle. The activity has created much enthusiasm among children.

28 November 2016 – Two cork oaks to the Archaeological Park of Centocelle

The 28 November 2016 were planted two cork oaks (Quercus suber) in Archaeological Park of Centocelle, on Casilina street, adjacent to the District of Centocelle.

The planting followed on from the previous day, where various associations (National coordination Trees and landscape, Breath Green Legalberi, Coordination Afforestation Trees Taranto, Forum Salviamo il Paesaggio Rome and Lazio, Pro Natura Abruzzo and especially the Archaeological Park Committee Centocelle Common Good) promoted with great commitment the March of the trees. Twenty Oaks were planted the 27 November 2016.
